In line with previous years United Way will be calling for applications to the Community Fund for funding of activities in the 2011 calendar year.

As part of the recent formation of United Way Worldwide, United Way Ballarat is seeking to align its processes with the international best practice of the Global United Way Movement.

Before funding applications for 2011 are received and considered, United Way Ballarat would like to invite all organisations working to meet the needs of Ballarat to become Community Partners with United Way Ballarat.

The intention of the Community Partners program is to extend and develop relationships with the agencies who are working in the Ballarat region.  By working together across the community, United Way is seeking to begin developing shared processes for needs identification, strategy development, volunteer programs, advocacy campaigns and applying for funding from the Ballarat Community Fund.

Funding application forms will be circulated to all Community Partners
