The key milestones of this process are:

• Call for applications for funding for the following year are advertised in the media six weeks before closing date
• Activation of volunteer Allocations Committee
• Committee meets and makes recommendations
• Allocations Committee reviews and makes final recommendations to the Board
• Community Partners are advised of the results of their application for funding
• Cheques are presented quarterly in arrears - March, June, September, and December
• In July and December of the funding year, progress reports are submitted for review by United Way.
