United Way Funding
United Way Ballarat allocates funding annually in the latter half of the calendar year.The key milestones of this process are:
- Applications for funding for the following year are called for up to six weeks before closing date
- Activation of volunteer Allocations Committee
- Committee meets, applies criteria to applications and makes recommendations
- Allocations Committee reviews applications and makes recommendations to the Board

Community Partners are advised of the results of their application
- Funds are distributed quarterly in arrears - March, June, September, and December
- In July and December of the funding year, progress reports are submitted for review by United Way.
